Marly Skin® – The Original – skin barrier foam – Finally an effective skin protection – even under the glove.

Klinik, Arztpraxis und Labor - Boost
Kontaktekzeme und Hautreaktionen nehmen in Labor- und Gesundheitsberufen stark zu.

Contact eczema and skin reactions are increasing strongly in laboratory and health care professions.

The main causes are intensive hygiene measures and the wearing of protective gloves, which cause skin lesions due to occlusion and thus cause a deterioration of the skin condition.

  • Marly Skin® protects your skin for over 4 hours, no matter how often you wash or disinfect your hands during this time

  • Marly Skin® protects against skin irritation by wearing glove

  • Marly Skin® improves the effectiveness of hand disinfection

The Marly Skin® – active principle:

After application, a protective film forms in the skin (and not on the skin) and is not subject to abrasion.

Marly Skin®:

  • absorbs immediately and is neither visible nor perceptible on the skin
  • no greasing and lubricating
  • no occlusion
  • no impairment of the natural skin functions, transpiration and tactile sensation
  • 4 hours of protection, even if the hands are washed and disinfected several times during this time
  • no removal necessary, dissolves by itself without residues
  • Inhibition of percutaneous absorption of low molecular weight substances
  • Protection against alkalis, acids and organic solvents
  • Protection against microorganisms
  • Protection against discoloration of the skin
Das Marly Skin® – Wirkprinzip

Marly Skin® was tested in vivo against commercially available skin protection products from pharmacies.

The effects of skin protection products on the skin barrier have now been investigated in a scientific pilot study.

In an in-vivo experiment (on living skin and not in the laboratory) Marly Skin® was compared with a commercially available skin protection cream from a pharmacy. The skin was washed 3 times with water and soap in a period of 90 minutes and then disinfected.

The result:

while this 3 times skin stress led to a clear impairment of the skin barrier when using a skin protection cream, the skin barrier could not only be kept constant but even increased when treated with Marly Skin®!

(Product A = Marly Skin® | Product B = Commercial skin protection cream from the pharmacy)

The effectiveness of hygienic and surgical hand disinfection is improved in combination with Marly Skin®.

“It turns out that when using Marly Skin® before hand disinfection, more favourable results are achieved both in the immediate effect and in the long-term effect than with hand disinfection without Marly Skin®.”

Quote Prof. Dr. med. B. Wille, Institute for Hospital Hygiene and Infection Control, Giessen

non-toxic and has no allergic potential, i.e. neither eyes, mouth, mucous membranes nor the skin are irritated. Source: RCC,

  • MARLY SKIN® – Skin barrier foam can
be used as protection against aggressive disinfectants or to better tolerate rubber gloves. Prof. Dr. med. Wilhelm, Head of the Hand Surgery Department of the Surgical Polyclinic of the University of Munich.

  • MARLY SKIN® – Skin barrier foam
When testing an acute irritative reaction, it was shown that Marly Skin® is able to exert a significant protection on the skin against defined toxic substances. Prof. Dr. med. Plewig, Medical Institution of the University of Düsseldorf (tested the protective effect of Marly Skin® against dimethyl sulfoxide and sodium lauryl sulfate).

  • MARLY SKIN® – skin barrier foam protects
against disinfectants and does not impair hygienic hand disinfection. In the subject test with experimental hand contamination (with Escheria coli 3.7×1010 KBE) it was shown that the contamination of both hands is reduced on average by approx. 24%. Prof. Dr. K. Bößmann, Klinikum der Christian-Albrechts-Universität, Kiel, Zentrum für Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde, Abt. Zahnerhaltung (examined MARLY SKIN® during hygienic hand disinfection).

Before / After

The pictures show the skin condition before and after the use of Marly Skin®. The eczema was caused by disinfectants. The skin was able to recover through the consistent use of Marly Skin® and no longer shows any signs.
